| Series News: Route 66 Series - Round Two at Concept Haulers Motor Speedway Preview |

The Margay Racing Route 66 Sprint Series presented by Bridgestone, L&T Manufacturing and Russell Karting Specialties will hold round two at Concept Haulers Motor Speedway (CHMS) in Norway, IL on May 19 & 20. The event is sponsored by EMJ Metals.
CHMS will be open for practice on Friday May 18 and at least three rounds of practice will be held on Saturday for all event classes. Over two hundred entries attended the first round at Mid-State Raceway and over 200 entries are expected to be in attendance at CHMS. All entries are eligible to win a set of Bridgestone YLC tires in a drawing held at the Sunday driver’s meeting. Other prizes will also be given away at the Sunday driver’s meeting. There will be a free cookout following the races on Saturday with entertainment provided by Bob Bradish & The Back Stabbers, a local classic rock and blues band.

7:30 Gates open for registration and pre-tech
9:00 Practice (3 rounds/all classes)
1:00 Driver’s Meeting
1:30 Qualifying for Saturday classes
2:30 Pre-finals
4:00 Finals
Awards presentation following finals
Cookout and live band following the final race.

Competitors are reminded that starting at this event, the Bridgestone YLP rain tire is required for wet conditions. Sunoco 110 spec fuel will be available for sale at the track.
