| Industry News: Goldspeed USA Announce New Maxxis 5” Tire Line |

Goldspeed USA, located in Williamston, South Carolina is the importer for Maxxis tires in the United States and now has a complete line of 5” tires. The Maxxis SLR/SLH/SLW are environment friendly produced and carry the Green concept label.
Goldspeed USA is doing a fantastic job in the 6” dirt market, supplying the industry with quality 6” Maxxis tires and supporting the series with sponsorship.
Recently, Maxxis has released 3 new 5” compounds: SLR, SLH and SLW.
The SLR is the softest of the lineup and is similar to a Bridgestone YKC in durometer and performance. These tires perform well to the cord and heat cycle well. Combining great performance at a reasonable price makes the SLR the perfect choice for a spec race tire.
The SLH is a slightly harder compound that falls between a concession tire and race tire in durometer and performance. The SLH is a good choice for a spec race tire and for arrive and drive programs. The SLH compound will be available after mid June of 2012.
The SLW is a rain tire and completes the new 5” tire line.
The popular Raptor tires are still used for indoor and outdoor concession karting.
