| Sandy Hook, Poughkeepsie to Host First WKA Pavement Divisionals This Weekend |

The roar of engines will come to life this weekend at two more WKA Speedway Pavement Series Divisional tracks, as the quest for the 2012 national championships takes full flight.
With Oakland Valley and King George Speedways already hosting their first rounds of WKA Divisional action recently, the focus will now shift to two more facilities as Sandy Hook Speedway in Street, Maryland, as well as the Poughkeepsie Speedway in Poughkeepsie, New York will take center stage for their first events of the year.
A past host of a WKA national pavement series event, Poughkeepsie returns to the WKA fold, hosting round 1 of their divisional program this Sunday April 22.
For Sandy Hook Speedway, the lone WKA Divisional oval track in 2011, they will be the 3rd of 6 WKA tracks to host a divisional this Saturday April 21. Sandy Hook is also well know for their unique sprint track, home of many of the top competitors on the RLV Tuned Exhaust Products Gold Cup Series.
Both tracks will also be hosting Super Regional events during the season, Sandy Hook on June 17, Poughkeepsie on July 21, with winners on that day locked in as guaranteed starters in their respective classes for the Aug 10-12 Grand National event at Chapel Hill Raceway in Humphrey, New York. That weekend will mark the crowning moment for all winners as they will earn 2012 national championship honors.
It is important to note the Chapel Hill Grand National event is open to ALL competitors, not just winners of their respective Super Regional events.
