| Club News: POWERADE Karting Championship at Carolina Motorsports Park 2012 Schedule Released |

The POWERADE Karting Championship is based at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, SC. The multi-directional kart track has countless configurations including 16 turns and a 760-foot straightaway with a 26 ft. wide surface. POWERADE is the title sponsor and offers $5,000 in cash prizes distributed among the top three finishers in each of the Rotax classes and the winner of the Senior Clone Class.
Other championship prizes include a drawing for a free helmet paint job from renowned helmet painters Indocil Art and track time behind the wheel of a Radical SR4 open cockpit sport car on Carolina Motorsports Park’s road course. The Radical experience is offered to winners of the Senior and Masters championships by Stars and Stripes Motorsports.

Please note that we will be taking the eight best results for the championship points. Everyone gets two drops.
All events are held at the Carolina Motorsports Park Kart Track. The track configuration will change throughout the season. We will be running the full course counter clockwise for the first two races which is the configuration that we will use for the WKA Manufacturer’s Cup in March.
