| United States Rotax Max Challenge: 2011 National Point Standings - Junior |
| |
In cooperation with the United States Rotax Max Challenge and the MAXSpeed Group, eKartingNews.com is proud to present the USRMC National Point Standings for all seven Rotax categories for the 2011 season. Over the next few weeks, we will examine one class at a time to highlight the top-10 who was able to achieve the most points during the season.
The USRMC National Point Standings ranks drivers from all the local and regional Rotax Max Challenge Series across the country using a weighted point system that increases based on event participation. The purpose of the USRMC National Point Standings is to highlight those drivers who excel on the season as a whole, not including the USRMC Grand Nationals. Drivers who are properly licensed USRMC drivers are including in the standings for all seven categories, each counting their best six (6) results on the year toward the final standings.
Junior
At tracks across the country, the Junior Max category is among the most competitive category in all of karting. For 2011, 143 USRMC drivers contest the local series on the season, many of which made up a solid line-up of drivers at the USRMC Grand Nationals in Utah. The top-10 drivers represent seven different home USRMC series, separated by under 200 points. This year’s top ranking driver is New York’s Santino Ferrucci.
