| United States Rotax Max Challenge: 2011 National Point Standings - Mini Max |
| |
In cooperation with the United States Rotax Max Challenge and the MAXSpeed Group, eKartingNews.com is proud to present the USRMC National Point Standings for all seven Rotax categories for the 2011 season. Over the next few weeks, we will examine one class at a time to highlight the top-10 who was able to achieve the most points during the season.
The USRMC National Point Standings ranks drivers from all the local and regional Rotax Max Challenge Series across the country using a weighted point system that increases based on event participation. The purpose of the USRMC National Point Standings is to highlight those drivers who excel on the season as a whole, not including the USRMC Grand Nationals. Drivers who are properly licensed USRMC drivers are including in the standings for all seven categories, each counting their best six (6) results on the year toward the final standings.
Mini Max
The second class for the top-10 in the United States Rotax Max Challenge National Point Standings is the Mini Max division. Reserved for drivers in the 9-12 year old range, the Mini Max was the former entry level category prior to the introduction of the Micro Max engine package. Mini Max has a strong contingent across the country with 113 drivers recording points, including eight different USRMC programs represented in the top-10. This year’s top ranking driver is Texan Derek Scott Jr., who placed seventh last year.
