| Driver News: Robertson Racing Season Wrap Up and Practice for 2012 |

K1 RaceGear sponsored driver Jordan Robertson of Robertson Racing as expected picked up his Spec PRD 2011 Championship trophy from Pacific Area Karting (PAK) and also attended the year end banquet with Los Angeles Karting Club (LAKC) where he received the third place trophy in the Spec PRD Pilot class. At the event Jordan thanked his sponsors Motul and K1 Race Gear, he also thanked his head mechanic Chuck Landry, engine builders Terry Nash of Hyper Engines and Mike Manning of Mike Manning Karting. One of his biggest thanks went out to not only his parents Steve and Chris but to his coach and trainer Jerry Henderson.
Although he is in the off season, practice has begun for the 2012, with open test days to both Apex track in Perris and Cal Speed in Fontana. The team also changed over to a Tony Kart EVRR chassis for the upcoming racing season to hopefully bring Jordan to the next level of competitiveness in the region. After just a few sessions of testing Jordan is already getting use to the new chassis, showing some very fast lap times. Jordan will continue to hit the tracks to prepare for what looks to be a very challenging and exciting 2012 racing season. |
