| Last Chance to Pre-Enter for WKA Daytona KartWeek |

We're heading into the final weekend for teams to pre-register for this December 27-30 WKA Daytona KartWeek at the famed Daytona Int'l Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Pre-registration ends this Sunday night for each of the three WKA national series racing at Daytona, comprising the Dirt World Championships, Manufacturer's Cup Margay Sprint Championships and Road Racing's Daytona Championships.

Entry counts appear they'll be very strong at each of the three DIS kart venues. The Manufacturer's Cup Series will be attempting to break last year's record 690 entries, and current pre-entry numbers suggest that is a real possibility.
The Road Racing Series returns to Daytona for the first time since 2009, which saw a total of over 600 entries. The pre-entry session has been impressive for the Road Racing contingent, and it appears the pre-entry count will match that of 2009's.
Similar to Man Cup, Road Race entries have arrived from all parts of the country, including several from California, Texas, Kansas and all areas east of the Mississippi.
Dirt racers will hit Daytona's quarter-mile Flat Track for the third year in a row as WKA continues to rebuild and grow the Dirt World Championships. This year, the addition of the champ kart-focused Florida Champ Kart League (FCKL) and Unlimited All-Stars (UAS) has added enthusiasm for the event and has certainly helped champ kart and 2-cycle entry counts.
The $1,000-To-Win Animal Heavy Money Race will take center stage at the Flat Track midday Thursday, Dec. 29, as well as a full slate of Animal, Box Stock and senior flathead classes between Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 28 and 29.

While many take advantage of WKA's big Daytona KartWeek event being located only miles from the Atlantic Ocean by lodging at a hotel on the World's Most Famous Beach, other prefer to stay as close to Daytona Int'l Speedway as possible.
