The Karters Division of the Red Bull Kart Fight at PRI, Powered by Rotax is heating up to be one of the greatest race grids of the year in karting, with the news that Bas Lammers will now compete, driving a Praga kart manufactured by Intrepid.

Lammers was the 2010 KZ1 World Champion and came in fourth in this year's World Championship. That means that three of the top four finishers in the 2011 KZ1 World Championship are entered in the Karters Division of the Red Bull Kart Fight. (Thonon, Fore are the other two). Lammers also won the 2009 SuperNationals in Las Vegas, in which multiple F1 Champion Michael Schumacher competed.

Intrepid North America will exhibit the latest line of Intrepid and Praga kart chassis at the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show, in Orlando, where the Red Bull Kart Fight is taking place. "We are excited to welcome Bas Lammers to the Red Bull Kart Fight at PRI, Powered by Rotax," said John Kilroy, editor of Performance Racing Industry magazine, which is organizing the race at its PRI Trade Show. "With so many of the top karters in the world on the starting grid, this is going to be an extraordinary demonstration of racing skill for everybody in attendance."

The PRI Trade Show has evolved into a key annual gathering of karting businesspeople. Many of the top brand names in kart racing are among the 1100 exhibiting companies. Over 40,000 racing businesspeople from across the US, and 65 countries, attend the PRI Trade Show each year to shop the latest advances in racing components. It will be held December 1-3, in the North/South Building of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The exhibits take up 700,000 square feet.

The kart race will be held on Thursday night, December 1, in Orlando, in conjunction with the PRI Trade Show. The racing starts at 6:30 p.m. Stars from NASCAR, IndyCar, ALMS, NHRA, Grand-Am and more come to compete in the popular kart race. The race course is a tight, technical, purpose-built race track adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center, housing the 700,000 square feet PRI Trade Show. The Show is December 1 - 3, 2011.

November 18, 2011, is the deadline for team entries. Race teams can get a downloadable PDF of the entry form at the Red Bull Kart Fight Events Page on the PRI website. Or they can register online at motorsportsreg.com
