| Zanardi America Committed to Red Bull Kart Fight at PRI, Powered by Rotax |

Zanardi America of Phoenix, Arizona, announced its plans to exhibit in the 24th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show, to be held the first week of December in Orlando.
For the kart racing segment of motorsports, the PRI Trade Show has evolved into a key annual gathering of karting businesspeople. Many of the top brand names in kart racing are among the 1100 exhibiting companies. Over 40,000 racing businesspeople from across the US, and 65 countries, attend the PRI Trade Show each year to shop the latest advances in racing components.
Zanardi America is also fielding teams in the Red Bull Kart Fight at PRI, Powered by Rotax. Arie Luyendyk Jr., a former competitor in the IndyCar series and a partner in Zanardi America, and Martin Plowman, currently competing in the IZOD IndyCar series as well as the Firestone Indy Lights series, will be driving for Zanardi America in the All-Star division of the Red Bull Kart Fight.
Plowman was selected by Alex Zanardi as the sole works driver for Team Zanardi in the World Championship Karting Team in 2004. He clinched the CIK/FIA Formula A Asian Pacific Championship (Suzuka, Japan) claiming Zanardi’s first Championship. Plowman was also the youngest and first British driver ever to win the French Formula A Open International, clinching the title on his 16th Birthday.
In addition, Chad Brassfield, a partner in Zanardi America, will compete in the Karter Division of the Red Bull Kart Fight.
More entries by Zanardi America are soon to be announced in both the All-Star and Karter Divisions.
“Karting is a very important part of motorsports in the US, and around the world, and we’re very excited to have Zanardi America exhibit their chassis at the PRI Trade Show, in addition to having Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Martin Plowman compete in the Red Bull Kart Fight,” said John Kilroy, editor of Performance Racing Industry magazine. “The three days in Orlando for the PRI Trade Show will prove most valuable to karting business people who attend, and we guarantee they’ll have some fun there, too.”
The kart race will be held on Thursday night, December 1, in Orlando, in conjunction with the PRI Trade Show, which is the largest racing trade show in the world. The racing starts at 6:30 p.m.
Stars from NASCAR, IndyCar, ALMS, NHRA, Grand-Am and more come to the world’s largest racing trade show to compete in the popular kart race. The race course is a tight, technical, purpose-built race track adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center, housing the 700,000 square feet PRI Trade Show. The Show is December 1 - 3, 2011.
