EKN 2011 Chassis Preview Editorial Series: Tecno

The EKN 2011 Chassis Preview Editorial Series was designed during this off-season to provide the karting community with a unique opportunity to become informed of the most popular and successful brands available in the North American market, all from the warmth of their home computers or mobile devices. The karting industry is by no means short on options regarding chassis selection, and our goal with this article series is to help narrow down your choices while educating the community on what exactly is offered by each manufacturer and its United States or Canadian importer/distributor.

To view the complete 2011 Guide as it develops, visit the EKN Chassis Showroom.

Born in the early 1970’s, the Tecno brand has earned the recognition of the world-wide karting market. The Italian brand helped establish the career of Formula One World Champion Jenson Button, earning championships for Tecno karts. Everything from the chassis to all the high-quality magnesium components are manufactured in house, with numerous technology advancements in the sport developed under the Tecno brand. Based in Ontario, Canada, Pserra Racing has become the importer for the Tecno chassis in Canada and the United States. With a solid karting background, a sound facility to call home and key personal, Pserra Racing is looking to bring the Tecno name to the pinnacle of karting in North America.
