Ended today at the Circuito Internazionale 7 Laghi in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Italy, PV) the WSK Master Series Finals showed results mostly unexpected. The battle for victory in the deciding races has changed many results but above all, has restored the balance of the rankings closing the gap with a few drivers that seemed to be almost unstoppable.

ARDIG̉ REPLIES WITH FINALITY IN KZ1
Italian Marco Ardig̣ (Tony Kart-Vortex-Dunlop) countered at the best against Paolo De Conto (Energy-TM-Dunlop) that, after winning Final 1 yesterday, intended to further open up his lead in the ranking. In today’s Final 2, the two drivers studied each other halfway through the race until Ardig̣, being successful in overtaking the rival, made a breakaway all alone. Looking below the standard showed yesterday, De Conto lost the second place too and it was Czech Patrik Hajek (Tony Kart-Vortex-Dunlop) that snatched it from him. In the ranking, Ardig̣ is now closer to the leader De Conto that is 24 points up.

ZANCHETTA DOUBLES IN KZ2
Italian Marco Zanchetta (CKR-TM-Dunlop) won his second KZ2 victory consolidating his supremacy in the class competing along with KZ1. Slowed down for a difficult start, the driver from Treviso, Italy, managed to pull up and win ahead of Alfredo Delli Compagni (CRG-TM-Dunlop) and Croatian Kristijan Habulin (CRG-Maxter-Dunlop).

WITH RUDAKOV, RUSSIAN ANTHEM BOOMS OUT IN KF2
Antonio Giovinazzi from Taranto, Italy (PCR-Parilla-Vega) could not capitalize on a pole position deservingly achieved winning the Pre-final since he found himself too much on the outside during a hard start and watched Russian Pavel Rudakov (Tony Kart-BMB-Vega) and Thai Tanart Sathientirakul (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) passing him, among other drivers. Sooner, they both raced away into the lead and concluded in the same order without giving any chance of recovery to other contestants. Among the latter, another Russian Egor Orudzhev (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) finished third. Coming fifth today, Stefano Cucco from Biella, Italy is always at the top in a ranking getting shorter with Rudakov and Giovinazzi (today fourth in the Final) closer to the leader.

WIN ON THE LAST LAP FOR HANSSON IN KF3
Danish Nicolai Sylvest (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) went full tilt in KF3 Final and leaded until Energy-TM pair, consisting of Norwegian Dennis Olsen and Swedish Robin Hansson, decisively attacked. Respecting that order up to the last laps, nobody could foreshadow the successful attack that Hansson launched against his teammate in the concluding few hundred metres. Being in trouble just close to the finish, Sylvest gave his third place to Italian Antonio Fuoco (Top Kart-TM-Vega) in recovery after a start in eighth row. In the ranking English Callan Okeeffe (FA Kart-Vortex-Vega) is always at the top but Olsen and Sylvest narrowed their gap with him.

DIONISIOS BACK TO THE TOP IN 60MINI
Romanian Marcu Dionisios (Top Kart-LKE-Vega) strongly comes back at the top of 60Mini thanks to a Final always in the lead from the first till the last lap giving no chance of countering at all. Behind him, his fellow compatriot Petrut Florescu (Top Kart-Parilla-Vega) sprinted past Spanish Eliseo Martinez (Hero-Parilla-Vega) and snatched the second place from him on the last lap.
