| Industry News: Comet Racing Engines - WKA Manufacturer’s Cup Series Kershaw Report |

Fresh off the Daytona event which seen Comet Racing Engines win 6 classes in dominating fashion, Comet Racing Engines showed up in Kershaw South Carolina ready to hit the track running. Kyle Tilley continued his winning ways from Daytona on the all-new Arrow Junior Sportsman prototype chassis taking the pole and win in Yamaha Sportsman Heavy on Saturday. The Arrow Junior Sportsman kart is a fresh sheet design, specifically developed for the USA and will be available to all karters in the next few weeks. Tilley also took the pole in both Cadet classes on his Arrow Cadet chassis with Comet K80's, taking the win in Cadet Sportsman 1 and third in Cadet Sportsman 2. Tilley also took a third in Komet Sportsman as well as second in Yamaha Sportsman Light in the Arrow prototype with Comet Racing Engines. Five classes, three poles, two wins, one second, two thirds, not a bad weekend!
Sam Beasley continued to dominate the senior classes in his first full season of Senior competition. Sam took the win in both KPV Lite and Heavy on his Beasley Motorsports prepared Arrow but was demoted to second place in KPV Heavy after a questionable call for an unsafe pass. Beasley also took the pole in both KPV classes. Sam also took the win in both Senior SuperCan Light and Heavy with the Pole in Supercan Heavy going to Sam's teammate Gary Lawson. Sam was followed across the line in Yamaha Light by Mark Dismore Jr. in second on his Arrow XE28 with Comet Racing Engines KT100 with Shinya Michimi in 5th with a Comet KT100. Gary Lawson on his Arrow took 3rd in Yamaha Heavy with Mark Dismore Jr. 4th.
Jacob Donald continued his winning streak with the Komet Junior Heavy win on his Beasley Motorsports prepared Arrow XE28 with Comet Racing Engines KPV. Skylar Robinson took the pole in his Arrow XE28 with a Comet KPV and a third in the final behind Jacob. Komet Junior Light seen Austin Self take second on his Arrow XE28 with a Comet KPV with Ashley Rogero in 6th with her Comet KPV. Skylar Robinson took another pole with his Arrow XE28 in Yamaha Junior Heavy with a second place in the final with Jacob Donald taking third and Ashley Rogero in 5th, all with Comet KT100's. Yamaha Junior Light seen Skylar Robinson take his third pole of the weekend and almost pulling off the win in the final, contact for the lead in the final corner seen Skylar fall to fourth as he had to gather up his kart with Jacob Donald taking second.
The Parilla Leopard class seen Sam Beasley cross the stripe in first but the win was taken away in tech when his flex was found to be 1/16" too short. AJ Allmendinger took second on his Arrow X1-CIK with Comet Parilla Leopard. Billy Lewis took fourth with his Comet Leopard. Luke Fineis took his first WKA National podium finish with a 4th place in the Yamaha Rookie Sportsman Final 2 with his Comet KT100 engine.
