SUNDAY, APRIL 11
A picture perfect weekend completed at the New Castle Motorsports Park as the opening round of the WSK North American Series by CKI wrapped up Sunday. Dodging a bullet with the weather during the first weekend of April, the CKI group put on a well-orchestrated event to open up the inaugural season of the new series. The racing on-track was hotly contested though dominance was a factor as four drivers doubled up on the weekend to lead the way out of round one in the title chase.

SATURDAY, APRIL 10
The first day of action completed for the opening round of the WSK North American Series by CKI today at the New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana. The six divisions battled on the illustrious 1-mile circuit outside the Indianapolis area to begin the six-weekend national championship chase. With weather questionable for the month of April for the Midwest, CKI and the competitors enjoyed clear skies and comfortable temperatures. On track, the early season contenders showed their talent on the first day of racing with six different drivers scoring the inaugural wins in the new national series.

FRIDAY, APRIL 9
Championship Karting International took another step forward on behalf of all Karting today, by announcing a first of its kind program that provides support to drivers at multiple levels. CKI’s “Karting’s Got Talent” is a cooperative effort with the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving that will provide drivers with complete support packages that contribute to their Karting programs.

THURSDAY, APRIL 8
This weekend marks the inaugural WSK North American Series event, promoted by the Championship Karting International (CKI) outfit. Set for the illustrious New Castle Motorsports Park facility in central Indiana, April 9-11 will be part of a new era in national karting. CKI will begin its second season and enter a new partnership with WSK Promotions, the leading European karting program.
