| CKI Announces ‘Karting’s Got Talent’ Driver Support Program |
| |
Championship Karting International took another step forward on behalf of all Karting today, by announcing a first of its kind program that provides support to drivers at multiple levels. CKI’s “Karting’s Got Talent” is a cooperative effort with the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving that will provide drivers with complete support packages that contribute to their Karting programs.
A total of twelve drivers will be chosen through a selection process of applicants, at all levels from local Karters to National Karters, to Karters graduating their careers into cars. The official announcement of the twelve drivers selected will be made during the CKI National Event at Millville, NJ July 23.
Sponsorships benefits will include items such as driving suits and safety gear from Alpinestars and Vicci Apparel, race tires from Bridgestone, race fuel from VP Racing Fuels, lubricants from Motul, kart decals from DeCalWorks, and race entries in their selected series. The winner of the Karting’s Got Talent program will be chosen from the twelve drivers in a selection process of a panel of judges, and announced at the CKI Las Vegas Grand Championship Event at Mandalay Bay Las Vegas, October 22-24, 2010. The winner will receive a sponsorship to participate in the 2011 CKI National Program.
“CKI feels strongly about supporting Karting from the grass roots on up the ladder. “Karting’s Got Talent” is a prime example of this, and we could not be happier of the support of our partners in this ground-breaking program,” said CKI Director of Operations Kevin Williams.
“I am very excited about this program,” stated Vice President of The Bondurant School, Alan Rudolph. “I have always been passionate about the sport of Karting and now I have the opportunity to give back”.
Championship Karting International organizes the 6-race 2010 WSK North America Series, beginning this weekend at Mark Dismore’s New Castle Motorsports Park. CKI will also be hosting Round 2 of the WSK World Series at Millville, NJ July 30-31 and August 1. For more information log onto http://www.championshipkartracing.com |
