| CIK-FIA World Motor Sport Council Meeting Minutes |

At its meeting on 11 December 2009 in Monaco and on proposals of the International Karting Commission Members, the FIA World Motor Sport Council took in particular the following decisions concerning Karting:
2010 calendar of the CIK-FIA «U18» World Karting Championship and CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy
23-25 July 2010: Wackersorf (Germany)
27-29 August 2010: Alcaniz (Spain)
1-3 October 2010: Val d’Argenton (France)
2010 calendar of the CIK-FIA European Superkart Championship:
2-4 April 2010: Silverstone (Great Britain)
6-8 August 2010: Assen (Netherlands)
22-24 October 2010: Le Mans-Bugatti (France)
Representation of Manufacturers and Entrants within the CIK Commission in 2010:
Manufacturers’ Representative: Mr Kees Van de Grint (Bridgestone, Japan)
Entrants’ Representative: Mr Joakim Ward (Ward Racing, Sweden).
Within the framework of the invitations to tender issued by the FIA concerning Karting, the following companies who submitted tenders have been retained:
- Panta will be the single-supplier of fuel for the CIK-FIA Championships held in Europe on short circuits in 2010. Second generation “E10” type fuel (10% of non-food bio-ethanol) will be supplied to the competitors of the CIK-FIA “U18” World Karting Championship and CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy;
- Dunlop will be the single-supplier of tyres for the CIK-FIA KF2, KF3 and KZ1 Championships, Cups and Trophies held in Europe in 2010, as well as for the CIK-FIA “U18” World Karting Championship and CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy in 2010;
- Vega will be the single-supplier of tyres for the 2010 CIK-FIA KZ2 Championships, Cups and Trophies;
- Parolin will be the single-supplier of complete karts for the CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy in 2010, 2011 and 2012;
- Parolin will be the single-supplier of engines for the CIK-FIA “U18” World Karting Championship in 2010, 2011 and 2012, subject to the obtention of a number of guarantees;
- Tillotson Ltd. will be the single-supplier of carburettors for the CIK-FIA KF3 Championships, Cups and Trophies in 2010, 2011 and 2012;
- Elto Racing will be the single-supplier of exhausts and/or silencers for the CIK-FIA KF3 Championships, Cups and Trophies, the CIK-FIA “U18” World Karting Championship and CIK-FIA Karting Academy Trophy in 2010, 2011 and 2012. |
