SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8
The 2009 World Karting Association completed the season for the George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway on Sunday. The final day of the fifth round was contested on the historic 7/10-mile circuit inside the super speedway, hosting the SSC East/CRG Grand Nationals. Eighteen WKA Eagles were handed out on the weekend with three drivers skilled enough to take home two. On the flip side, 16 class championships were decided with the final laps of the year to put the year into the history books.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7
The first day of racing action took place inside the Lowe’s Motor Speedway for the WKA George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series SSC East/CRG Grand Nationals. Nearly all the action was completed until a delay near the end of the feature races coupled with the lost of daylight forced the final two features to be moved to early Sunday morning for their full distance. The eight classes that did complete their action on the day saw the Grand National Eagles awarded to the winners and the championships unofficial decided.

The 2009 season for the George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series will come to a close following this weekend’s action at the SSC East/CRG Grand Nationals inside the Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Concord, NC. The results from the historic 7/10-mile circuit inside turns 3 and 4 of the 1.5-mile oval speedway will decide the 16 class champions over the three day event. Aside from the championships and possible inclusion into the Triple Crown Club, drivers will be competing for the prestigious Grand National Eagle that the World Karting Association will award to the 18 feature winners, adding their names to the long list of Grand Nationals winners.
