SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27
Indy Car driver Ed Carpenter and his friend/race engineer Nathan O’Rourke scored the victory at the 2009 Mazda RoboPong 200 presented by Bridgestone Sunday afternoon under sunny skies at the New Castle Motorsports Park facility outside the Indianapolis area. The 200-lap endurance event on the 1-mile circuit was an battle of endurance and attrition as from the green flag dropped, the 47 teams began their quest for the $5k winning check and a place in the sixth year event history.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26
The first day of action completed at the New Castle Motorsports Park for the sixth running of the 2009 Mazda RoboPong 200 presented by Bridgestone. The popular facility in the New Castle, Indiana area ran roughly three-hours of practice with qualifying sessions taking place to line up the 47 teams for Sunday’s 200 lap event. All 47 teams will be vying for the $5k for the winning and will be chasing last year’s provisional winners of Jimmy Simpson and Evan Batt who scored the pole position for Sunday’s main event.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25
Regarded as one of the favorite karting facilities in America, drivers will have a chance over the September 25-26 weekend to challenge the 1-mile New Castle Motorsports Park circuit for 200 laps at the Mazda RoboPong 200 presented by Bridgestone. The sixth running of the popular team endurance event will match up some of the best in karting alongside some of their favorite IndyCar Series and Firestone Indy Lights drivers at the Indiana facility. With a $5,000 check for the winning team and fans lined along the fence around the entire course, the pressure to come out on top as the victor after 200 laps will be intense, providing a great four hours of racing on Sunday.
