But what happened exactly in Lonato? 8 F1 drivers met at the South Garda track for a collective session of tests. This time the drivers challenged each other not with F1 but with the great KZ Kart, accepting a difficult but also exciting challenge for everybody. It has been possible to organize this meeting thanks to the King Michael Schumacher: with his great passion for karting and his character he was able to involve many F1 colleagues in a real and hard session of tests with karts.

The other two top drivers testing Tony Kart chassis powered by Vortex were the Ferrari driver Felipe Massa, who went down to the track on Thursday, and the Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel. The last one was a Tony Kart – Vortex during his karting career. These two days were spent in a friendly atmosphere of challenge among teams and drivers, everyone did his best.
It was really hot at the South Garda track and the public assisted to exciting Grand Prix moments, leaving without words all the fans flocked to the track. Michael Schumacher, as always took care of every aspects of his Tony-Kart Vortex, having an important exchange of ideas with our technical staff. The other two F1 drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Felipe Massa did an excellent work too.
These two days were not just a “show”, the proof of this is the number of laps done by each driver; Schumacher for example did more than 100 laps per day, doing great times. The top drivers had at their disposal the Tony Kart Racer EVR with Vortex RVX, for Schumacher and Massa, and the KF1 Racer EVR with Vortex RAV for Sebastian Vettel. During the second day (Thursday 16th of July) Michael Schumacher tested carefully also the Krypton model.
