Burris Racing - 7 Degree ‘Slider’ Motor Mount
One name that is renowned in the sport of karting is Burris Racing. The 33-year old company out of Huntington Beach, California is known for the many products it provides for all levels of karting. The recently developed 7 Degree 'Slider' Motor Mount is the latest creation by the Burris family. Constructed out of aircraft billet aluminum, the Slider will give you that extra engine clearance or perfect weight distribution your looking for. The Slider has patterns for nearly any engine on the market. The 80mm x 102mm is for the Leopard, Rotax, HPV, PRD Fireball and other popular engines. The 80mm x 115mm geared toward various KF series, Leopard II, and other unique engines. Burris also has a standard 4-cycle pattern for the Briggs, Yamaha, Honda, Kohler, and 'Clone' engines. Coming in either single or dual bolt butterfly clamps, the Slider allows up to 1.5 inches of side to side engine adjustment for the perfect positioning. Grand Products - Top Kart Flash
The hottest kart for TaG competition right now is the Top Kart Flash available from importer Grand Products. Currently, the Top Kart Flash is the kart of choice for the top two drivers in the eKartingNews.com TaG Driver Rankings - Chris Wehrheim and Kyle Wiegand. Neil McCoy currently leads the IAME Senior championship in the Championship Karting International (CKI) series. In Junior competition, Taylor Miinch recorded two victories at the recent CKI Grand Prix of New Jersey event in the KF3 and IAME Junior divisions aboard the same Top Kart Flash. Piloting a Top Kart Flash, Tyler Thomas leads in the IAME Junior standings. The 31/32mm frame chassis has a 1044mm wheelbase. All the components on the kart are manufactured from Top Kart, including the bodywork and the hydraulic brakes. The kart comes with three different torsion bars (front and rear) and has adjustable caster/camber for the front-end.
