| Event News: IKF 2-Cycle Grand Nationals Adds More Sponsors for July Event |

The Northern Nevada Kart Club (NNKC) is proud to announce the addition of four sponsors to the IKF 2-Cycle Sprint Grand Nationals, set for July 21-25 at the Desert Raceway Park outside Reno, Nevada.
Team Tony Kart West lead by 2004 Indy 500 Champion Buddy Rice and Cliff Kujala have entered into an agreement with Northern Nevada Kart Club to be the Primary Secondary Event Sponsor for the 2009 IKF 2 Cycle Sprint Grand Nationals in Reno. Rice, who drove on some of the first Tony Kart Chassis’ on US Circuits, knows what it takes to get to the front and is looking forward to bringing Team Tony Kart West to Desert Park Raceway in Reno Nevada to compete for the prestigious Duffy's.
Also jumping on board to claim secondary event sponsorship is Position One Motorsports. Founded in 2002 and spearheaded by businessman Luis Martinez, the team looks to compete at a high level at this year’s IKF 2 Cycle Nationals in Reno. Position One Motorsports headquarters is housed in a state-of-the-art facility in Baldwin Park, California. The team continues to support an array of go-kart ventures around the Western Region of the United States.
K&N Filters is an IKF National Sponsor and will be handing out gift certificates to the top 3 in each class. That’s 60 certificates to be donated. More products for the racers!!! Much thanks to the folks at K&N who have been a proud supporter of the IKF and karting community for many years.
Bridgestone, the IKF National Tire for Sprint Racing, will be donating 20 sets of tires to the event which 5 sets will be given away at the drivers meeting each race day morning. This is a HUGE donation made possible by the folks at Bridgestone. |
