SUNDAY, MAY 3
The second round of the WKA George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series driven by Mazda completed its final day of action at the Michiana Raceway Park in South Bend, Indiana. The MRP Speed School Nationals was two full days of racing with the WKA and track staff producing a smooth sailing ship to get all the action in. Canadian Marco DiLeo is now in the driver’s seat after scoring his second TaG feature win to establish himself as the championship leader. Sunday was also a day of first with four different drivers scoring their first victory of the season.

SATURDAY, MAY 2
Though the trees surrounding the Michiana Raceway Park in South Bend, Indiana may not have the leaves in full bloom, the racing season is in full force following the first day of competition at the MRP Speed School Nationals for the WKA George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series driven by Mazda. An action packed day of 10 classes contested the 7/10-mile circuit with the WKA staff and the competitors running a smooth but long day at the track. The big winner on the day is the defending Manufacturer’s Championship Trophy winner Birel and Ryan Stewart. The chassis grabbed five wins on the day to move them to the top of the standings with Stewart earning three of them.

FRIDAY, MAY 1
It has been roughly 120 days since the World Karting Association George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series driven by Mazda was in action. Back in December, the series kicked off the 2009 season at the Margay Racing Products Nationals during the Daytona KartWeek. This weekend, the teams and drivers will be competing at the much anticipated MRP Speed School Nationals at the Michiana Raceway Park in South Bend, Indiana.
