| 20th Annual Margutti Trophy Event Readies for March 20 |

Everything ready for the next international karting race “20th Trofeo Andrea Margutti”, the traditional event that will take place from the 18th to the 22nd March 2009 at “Pista 7 Laghi” in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia). KF3, KF2 and KZ2 will be the categories attending this event that achieved “Fia Authorised Series” title this year.
More than 170 drivers coming from 25 different Countries, the best international constructors and drivers according to tradition. Birel Motorsport is going to line up young drivers as Riccardo Arone and Maxa Radim in KF3. Even the Dutch Nyck De Vries (Zanardi), 2008 WSK winner, is going to compete in KF3 category with Chiesa Corse team. The Russian Daniil Kvyat (Tony Kart) with Morsicani team, winner at the “Trofeo Grifone Sarno”, and Edgard and Eduard Frolenkov with Maranello Kart are strong competitors in KF3.
In KF2 great drivers are going to show up as the Polish Karol Basz with F1 driver Robert Kubica chassis and the Portuguese David Da Luz (Chiesa Corse). Maranello Kart team is going to line up the son of Eddy Cheever, Eduard Cheever, the English George Blundell and Aaro Vainio, winner in the WSK Super KF category. In KF2 category further great competitors will be the Finnish Simo Puhakka (Pcr), last Open Masters winner, Lorenzo Camplese and Matteo Viganò (Birel) with Mgm team.
In the new entry Trofeo Margutti KZ2 class, the European and Worldwide champion Alessandro Manetti is going to compete with his new AM chassis built by Crg. Further important joiners in this category are the European champions Roberto Toninelli and Yuri Lucati (Ckr), the French Manuel Renaudie (Gillard), the Czech Jiri Becicka (Tony Kart) and Alban Varutti (Sodikart). Tommaso Cerquetti and Marco Zanchetta are going to compete with DR, the chassis belonging to the 5 times Worldwide Champion Danilo Rossi. KZ2 constructors joining this event are Lenzokart, Energy, First, Comer, Maranello, Brm and Maddox.
On Monday, the 16th of March, the event is going to start. On Friday the 20th free trial and qualifying will take place. On Saturday the 21st there will be organized some meeting.
