Maranello Kart North America is proud to announce its new Maranello dealer, Palm Beach International Raceway (formerly Moroso Motorsports Park) in Jupiter Florida. PBIR will be the exclusive Maranello Kart dealer for Florida and the Florida home base for Maranello USA race team.
“We are very excited to be a part of Palm Beach International Raceway and Jay Howard principal of Screaming Talent and director of karting for PBIR”, states Michael Ferrucci, principal of Maranello North America. “With our recently inked long term agreement with Maranello Kart Srl. it is our mission to have select dealers positioned in different parts of North America. Our dealer network will consist of racetracks and longtime karting establishments so the integrity and professionalism associated with Maranello Kart will continue in North America and Canada.”
“When I began to interview for a dealer relationship Maranello was on top of my list”, states Howard. “The quality of Maranello Kart along with innovative technology and stellar reputation made my choice even easier. I have developed a great working relationship with Maranello North America as they are extremely knowledgeable regarding the existing karts and new Homologations. As Maranello has several European Championships and the 2008 JICA and Cadet Championships in the FWT, we are confident of the existing products and eager to test the 3 new chassis. In conjunction with Maranello USA Race team and Screaming Talent, we will soon release our driver line-up as we are in negotiations with several top pilots.” boasts Howard.
“Having Jay Howard’s Screaming talent team on our Maranello Karts serves as a perfect compliment for our Maranello USA team which is based out of New York, as our concentration will be Rotax, importantly our Northeast Rotax Series and additionally the two Rotax Series in Canada.” states Ferrucci. “Our driver line-up and race schedule will be released in January in conjunction with our new Maranello North American website”.
Palm Beach International Raceway is located in Jupiter Florida and the home to the second race weekend of the Florida Winter Tour.
