SUNDAY, JUNE 15
It was a near perfect day Sunday for the second run of classes at the WKA George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series Driven by Mazda for the Racersites.com Grand Nationals at the Badger Raceway in Dousman, WI. The third round of the five event series wrapped up with sunny skies all day following a brief delay for rain showers in the early morning that had the track damp when racers arrived to the facility. When the racing was completed, Jason Foley took home two more Eagles Sunday to bring his total to three, leading all drivers, and giving Merlin seven wins on the weekend.

SATURDAY, JUNE 14
After battling weather conditions and a late fuel track, activities completed after day one of racing at round three WKA George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series Driven by Mazda for the Racersites.com Grand Nationals at the Badger Raceway in Dousman, WI. While the day began with clear skies, a late fuel truck delayed the beginning of on-track action with rain causing havoc during the main events. With all that, the WKA did an excellent job in getting all the events in on the day. On track, Merlin was the big winner on the day with four victories while driver-wise Chris Larson took home two wins, including a rain-soaked TaG feature win.

FRIDAY, JUNE 13
The World Karting Association George Kugler/Bridgestone Manufacturer’s Cup Series Driven by Mazda will reach the halfway point of the 2008 season this weekend. The Racersites.com Grand Nationals at the Badger Raceway in Dousman, Wisconsin will be the third of five rounds for the series. With entries of over 600 in Daytona and over 500 in Charlotte, the same high number is expected over the June 13-15 weekend as the prestigious WKA Eagle will be awarded to all the race winners. Weather could be an issue as rain is forecasted on and off throughout the weekend however everyone’s appetites will be fulfilled with Badger Kart Club hosting a Friday night BBQ.
